UPDATE: Equus official video now without mid song Ads! (Patreon)

UPDATE: Just letting everyone know that the official version of this video on the Season of Mist youtube now has no ads during the song! We've also requested to ensure that the video for our next single 'Graal' has no ads mid roll from the outset.

So the other day I was watching the EQUUS video on Youtube and I was hit with an ad at about 7:45... right before I'm about to try and make everyone cry. And I'm like.... that really sucks. We've spent 7:45 building up to this big final section and the experience is rudely interrupted by an Ad. Now of course, the money from Ads partly goes to us. But in the end, if people love the video/song, they then buy merch, tickets to show, and hopefully... sign up to Patreon like all you lovely people. So putting an Ad in the middle of the song is ridiculous.

Having seen a bunch of comments from fans complaining about having exactly the same experience that I described above, I immediately contacted our record label asking them to remove the Ads from the middle of the song. (This sort of stuff is generally handled by the label and we're not involved)

The label indicated that they can make this change, but that it might not happen straight away because their digital aggregator (the company who delivers the music to Youtube for them) handles that. So they'll need to get it changed on their end.  But thankfully they agreed that in the meantime we could create a 2nd (unlisted) link that is Ad free for our Patreon members!

We don't want to share this link publicly as we want the main link to keep trending and being shared, but we also want to be able to give those of you here an improved experience straight away. 

Then hopefully quite soon everyone will be able to have that same improved experience of watching Equus start to finish without an Ad ruining the vibe using the primary/official link.
