FROM TINO:

"Hey everyone!

Tino here sharing my playthrough for Equus as promised! It’s the first time you see my ideas coming to life with NeO, so I hope you enjoy it as much as I do, and thanks again for  all the kind comments you already gave on it on all our social media! "

And with this, I maintain that Martino is much better for Ne Obliviscaris than Cygnus was. Period!

This is so beautiful and so hypnotising to watch, it makes the song itself even better (if that's even possible ❤️) Thank you for sharing this ❤️

Ne Obliviscaris

Hey Dragos, I think rather than saying one is better than the other we can just acknowledge that both are wonderful musicians who work incredibly well with NeO's music in their own different ways. Brendan wrote lots of great parts for NeO, but as you'll see with Martino on this record, he is incredible in his own right and the future is of course very bright for the band :-) - Tim

Wonderful! The bass is what stood out to me most in this song. Can't wait for the guitar playthrough!

I was looking forward to enjoy Tino’s work, and when I listened to Equus for the first time I was so proud of him (if I’m allowed to say this). Auguri, Tino!!

So talented! This is why bass is one of my favorite instruments

Dragos Tomescu

Hey Tim, thanks for answering. I understand your point of view, and let's just say that Martino is here and he is a wonderful musician / band member. I think now it sounds better :)

Hi Tina! I worked it all out! Finally! Thanks you! 🖤✔️

Wow... this is quickly becoming one of my favorite NeO tunes, and this bass line is everything I love about your music. This is such a melodic bass line, and it holds the entire song together (but I'm biased -- as a fellow bass player, I feel that the rhythm section is the foundation, the wave the other musicians are surfing on). I've been wanting to learn a NeO song to add to my repertoire, and this video is going to get an absurd number of replays as I try to transcribe this. On that topic, I was also wondering if NeO is planning on publishing transcriptions of some of your work? Obviously, I can spend a few evenings reverse engineering the video, but I'd happily spend the money instead. Either way, this is going to be one of those songs that helps me push my own playing to a new level. I dream of playing this kind of music in a real band, but until I can find some like-minded musicians around here, I'll be blissfully living the dream in my basement :-) Thanks for the inspiration, to the entire band, but especially Tino!!!
