So what does everyone think of GRAAL so far?

Lyrics below to check out!

05: GRAAL

Dust of dissonance

The grey aura

Drift of the pariah

Of the gathering

Hauling ley lines

Through the catacombs

Weaving day into day

Within the reliquary

The heart that beats

The heart that beats is out of reach

Carry the stones

Of lapidation

The burden outcast

Walk the barren vast

Dragging the barren past

Wandering the ever gloaming

The introspection

Light’s miasma

Pilgrim

Eternity

The marching, the flayed

Pain of veils

Ossified

Desolation’s sea

Sorrow, the path to the end

Faceless horizon

Where silence listens to silence

Rippling call, of the holy grail

Gorge the blood of God

Blood of God of Self

Purge all poison

There is only dust

Humanity is gone

Graal is Powerful and the lyrics seems spiritual. I like the meaning behind about ones individual worth. I love how the beginning middle section of Graal sounds a bit like Egyptian. Highlights for me is Xens 'Humanity is gone'. The guitar riff at 6:23 and the violin solo at end. And now I can say, I like Equus more than Graal. Equus just makes me headbang more, which I love haha. And it's a longer song. Also I do love it when NeO songs end with both clean and unclean vocals that are harmonising towards the end :)

I feel like Graal is one of the most unique NeO songs. It’s so chaotic and complex and I haven’t come close to unpacking all of the layers after many many listens. Just top tier songwriting and I’m so glad you guys are able to keep things so fresh even with your fourth release.

I always tend to like the longer brooding epic tracks but everyone shows something so fresh here instrumentally on guitar/bass/drums that it just really puts itself in contention for one of your best tracks ever. It also might be peak vocal performance from both singers...It also is the heaviest NeO track ever written (so far). Also that violin solo .. Too many things are in it's favor.

wow, wow, wow. the song is really good. Gave me some time to relisten at different moments and it really grew on me. I have high hopes for the album and for the band. (Thank you)

btw the violin part at the beginning reminded me of something i've heard a long time ago but i can't quite associate it, you got any leads?

I hope you guys are gonna play this live, right?

I like specially this song. The Grial is a powerful symbol of Redemption. Why redemption is necessary or how to get it, if in your live of by death, is a subject we could be talking about for many years. All symbols are here: our own sins, the blood, the ultimate purity. They are in the music, in the lyrics, in the images. Is a topic that always fascinated me, and now you have captured it in a perfect, complex, raw, intertwined, beautiful music. Actually, I think we put more of ourselves when we listen, I think it doesn't matter, right? The important thing is how it makes you feel. So, thanks.

Holy sh*t. This song blew me away in terms of expectations for the new album. Wow!!!

I have no idea what this song is about, except for the obvious, the holy grail....🤣🙈🤷‍♀️🖤👏

Mat

That makes far much more sense than all my fantasies, no doubt! 😅😅🤣🤣🤣

Dragos Tomescu

I guess we'll have to listen to the whole album. Maybe this song relates to the ones above it.

I love this song even more, now... The symbolism of the holy grail is interesting to explore and study under many angles, and it can apply to just as many situations and struggles. The lyrics are essential to appreciate a song fully, thank you for sharing them! 😊
