The collector's edition indeed looks even better than expected. I ordered it, as well as the the vinyl, and the shirt. It's put me in a tough position; do I open and play/wear them for my love of the band, or do I preserve and display them for my love of the band? While I don't know you, despite briefly meeting the band members during your two tours in the US; I want to say that your music has connected with me more deeply than any other group I've ever heard. Got my shipping confirmation for the Collector's Edition + t-shirt bundle today, I'm super hyped! I'd ordered last minute after stocks were moved back to the AU store so I had this lingering worry that I'd get an apologetic email informing me that I'd unfortunately ordered something which was sold out. Can't wait to watch the DVD. Listening to my bandcamp copy of Exul right now, so the DVD has overtaken the record for thing I'm most looking forward to!

Hmmm no signs of life from my JSR Direct order. Is this the case for anyone else? No E-mail yet, and It has been "processing" since the start of the week but my experience from them in the past has never been one of quick shipping. I will just let the process play out, though I hope it gets here before I have to leave town late next week, is my only concern haha. (Side note: I ordered an extra T-shirt on the side, maybe that delayed it a bit?)

Apparently, my collector’s edition box is travelling the world and the seven seas ;), but at least the digipak is about to be delivered tomorrow and the NeO–Nevermore shelf will finally fill up. After a few days of listening and finally overcoming the speechless state, there are a few things on my mind. I must say the whole album is quite intense: lyrically, musically and emotionally. Regardless of whether it's Equus, in which you can even hear the hoofbeats (the rhythm section is gold in this one!!!) and ash slowly settling on everything, or it's Graal that makes you feel something is crawling just under the skin along the spine, music is a synesthetic experience here. And that's a damn great achievement! Definitely a new quality, with even heavier guitars (<3) and more interesting compositional experiments. Pure magic. Misericorde (I + II) is a song I really, really, REALLY want to hear live one day. The guitar parts coruscate and stun, whether soloed or in dialogue with the violin, and that initially-Floydish solo in part II is the crown jewel of the song. Dazzling. Xen sounds both terrifying and terrific, like the harbinger of the End. In contrast, Tim, especially when he sings lower, perfectly conveys the insignificance of the fight against helplessness (and there are some vibes and emotions in his voice that we have not yet had the opportunity to hear on previous albums. Especially here and in Suspyre. Another wow). The string parts in Misericorde I literally ARE a slow disintegration or (part II) falling into the abyss; I can't express it any other way. They touch something elusive. If I were a fortune teller, I'd say that in 20 years I'll consider this the best song on the album, maybe even your best. But I'm not, so who knows. Suspyre is another masterpiece, every time I listen to it, I discover something new worth paying attention. It's amazing that a track with so much going on feels so spacious at the same time. Here Xen is the damnation incarnated, everything rumbles and vibrates until this ethereal fragment with brilliant acoustic guitar and soft, volatile vocals, and then hits with doubled strength. And then comes another twist and a change of pace, and even more... Beautiful to the point of pain, it really evokes psychosomatic reactions. The lyrics on the album, brutally showing the (in)validity of the soul, human flesh, beliefs, fleetingness and fragility of the world around us, set a completely new magnitude of sorrow. Filled with despair, touching, devastating, they perfectly complement the music. I can't even say which one appeals to me the most, I have the impression that they simply form the unity. And so he wanders through the vast, endless nothingness: an outlaw, a citizen without a homeland. The eternal pilgrim with an empty creed. A man stripped of dignity, betrayed by his own body and mind, bearing the vile and painful legacy of his human nature. Ex nusquam venimus, nihil sumus, ut nusquam tendimus. Paradoxically, even though it has no lyrics, the last song, so haunting, leaves the listener with a disturbing question: isn't anhedonia the worst form of exile? One that is completely imperceptible from the outside, a quiet banishment…? How fortunate that Ne Obluminati don’t take vows of silence (or do they?). What is valuable should be spread. Undoubtedly, there is still much to say. Thanks guys for this journey. For this exile. Ah, and could someone award Tino with a medal of merit for what he does with these glorious basslines? Words are too small for that (or at least I can't find anything proper). And another for the fantabulous Graal solo, please. It's mindblowing, no matter how many times you've heard it before.

The live show is so good!!!! My only grief is that I don't have any device to play a bluray. The xbox moved out and the laptop can only play DVDs. A friend has a playstation, so I have to visit them to watch a video while ignoring my friend at their own place..... Do you think you could upload "Xenoflux" and "Forget Not" here as well? Maybe as Patreon exclusive video? Maybe top tier only or something?? Would be so wonderful to be able to watch the show and especially those songs (with no videos available so far) whenever I want to on laptop, TV, tablet or phone..... 💔😔😍🙏
