Hi Troy! I've seen you have a cool system where the band can control their own monitors and set up for shows fairly quickly. Could you go into detail how it works and what gear you use? I'd love to set up a similar system myself one day for my band

Oliver Midson

Hey Troy! What mics do you use when tracking drums for Dan?

João Eiras

Hi Troy. Tell a funny adventure from touring across the world :)

LW

Do you play any instruments?

Hey Troy! I have two questions. How do you go about mixing the violin in with the rest of the band and are there any challenges or obstacles that you face during the process? Also, what is your approach getting a strong and clear bass tone that doesn't get buried by the other instruments and doesn't rely on distortion to cut through the mix, both live and on the records? Really looking forward to the next album!

Tina

Hi Troy! Nice to meet you after Euroblast. Many good questions already asked ... I can't come up with something smart, so I'll just ask what I've wondered for a while: Why do you have a hairless cat? Isn't the soft fur one of the best thing about cats? Or do you have an allergy? No offense to Nergal, though! :)

Hey man. Have you (and Dan) ever thought about having a drum tech on tour? As I have seen on your European tours so far you and Dan always set up everything by yourselves which must be pretty exhausting, especially on a long run.

Being the producer of the previous albums, do you still approach recording each new album by NeO with a fresh look and ideas or have you found a sort of rhythm/method for recording everything since you've done it before?

Anonymous

Hi Troy! Many, many thanks for constantly making NeO sound so amazing live and in the studio :). As you've been with the band for quite some time now, how would you say they have changed their approach to making albums( and maybe as a bonus: most difficult thing they have asked you to do)?

Val

Hello Troy ! :) How did you become NeO's sound engineer ?

Kenny Walton

What's your personal favourite NeO song?

Dillon O'Brien

i saw you manning the sound board at a NeO show. i had no idea that you produced as well. which do you prefer, studio work, or live performances?
