Sooooooo....... there is a section in one of the songs that will feature on the new album that has some "group vocal" parts written and we thought, what better way to get a crowd together to sing on the record than from our Ne Obluminati family so that some of you get the chance to sing on the album!

WHERE: Melbourne, Australia

DATE: Saturday April 29 (exact time TBC- likely sometime afternoon/evening)

REQUIREMENTS: You don't need to be an amazing singer, the melody is fairly simple, but you do need to be able to sing in tune. You'll be in a group of somewhere between 10-30 people so have no fear if you're not a super confident singer!

HOW:

EMAIL us at neobliviscaris.au@gmail.com with "I want to sing on the new NeO album" as the subject title and we will start selecting people shortly. If we get far more people wanting to be part of it than we can get involved, we'll prioritise people from the higher tiers first and work our way down from there.

Any questions, just let us know!

Ahhhh i wish i could sing :(

Shane Pegg

I wish I wasn't booked this weekend! That would be a bloody dream come true

Greg Dineen

Wow wish I lived in Australia

Alex Schroeder

I can sing, but sadly I'm on the wrong side of the planet. Congrats anyone who gets to go!

John Gliss

Tina, did you finish that teleport device we agreed upon? Look at what we're missing ...

Kardashev

Can we record ourselves and send it to you?

John Gliss

i imagine that would take up a lot of mixing time on their part

Vidur Paliwal

If patrons from all across the world could record and send in, it would be really cool. Something like Plini did on a track a while back.

Additionally, if NeO would allow all submissions, I'd be willing to open my studio for a weekend here in the southwest US to patrons in my area. Just a thought. :)

Val

That's an awesome thing ! I hope there will be many people coming :) Also I'm seriously considering moving to Australia now

FYI this is going to be taking place 5pm on Saturday and we would need people to arrive no later than 4:30pm for a quick warm up and workshop on the quite simple part with Alana from Alana K Vocal, one of Melbourne's best singer teachers. Everyone who has emailed through will be sent these details personally as well. If anyone else wants to jump on board get in quick as it's just about full!

Ne Obliviscaris

As nice as it would be to be able to include everyone, we simply don't have the time to go through the huge number of recordings we would receive and get them all ready in time for mixing with the very tight deadline that we have. Especially after we fell behind a few days when I got sick last week.

Kardashev

Oh. Alright. Well, feel better and good luck, guys. We're all eagerly awaiting! :)

Tina

isn't that the same time you're doing the live chat ....?

2026-10-01 06:00 This is what we posted about this months live chat: "This months Live Chat for our $25+ members is going to be in the form of a live stream from the recording studio this Saturday, April 29@ 5pm AEST. It's at this time that we will be recording our group vocals with some Ne Obluminati members as well as some personal friends of ours. This will enable you guys to get a look at how we go about recording this part of the album, you'll get to hear part of the new song that it features in, and if you can also post any questions to us at the time and we'll check back in and answer them all for you as we go along. " So we'll be live streaming the recording process and checking in every so often to answer questions. Matt & I will both be there for it.
