Background / Shading Process [Video] (Patreon)

The process I used for shading this is kind of new but I'm seeing about experimenting with new processes still. Something I learned from the background in this one was ... I sketched out where I wanted everything to be, but my backgrounds look better when I lay out bits of colour and build up over it. I tried to make it work but at 9 mins I scrapped what I had to try building up which I think worked a lot better.
