Last page got me thinking... It feels like it's setting up both Nadette and Zina being done with their gains for the remainder of the comic. Things still feel uncertain with Myu because of the unfavorable odds of the drink Rena wanted her to have, so it makes me think, is weight loss likely to happen to Myu and/or Zina? With Nadette, it's pretty inevitable because of her hibernation, so that leaves Rena as the most likely to gain out of the 4.

I hate to be so negative, but I'm not gonna lie. If Myu is herself is done, I'm done. At least that's what I would say, but seeing that I've been following the comic since its dreadfully slow beginnings, I might end up staying. I just won't like to see her getting somewhere just to have things go in reverse after all the waiting and pain that Myu and us went through. ;~;

That's part of what I'm worried about too, and why I hated the gambling aspect of that elixir Rena wanted Myu to have. We're nearing 500 pages, and Myu only recently achieved proper fat girl status. To be blunt, it would feel like a kick in the balls from Pix if Myu started going in the other direction after the years it took to get here. This part of the story I feel like has been filled with the most uncertainty despite Myu having the means to do what she wants now. Things SHOULD be looking up, yet they aren't.

Personally I think her progress will only be impeded her progress the same way her inability to eat too much did now that it’s solution has been solved. I personally don’t see her going backwards but instead be given high stakes to resume making every calorie count like in the beginning. Whether or not it lasts is the issue I see coming. At best it will keep her from getting too big during naddets hibernation, at worst it lasts long enough that she continues to be disappointed about her progress despite officially being fat despite having made more progress than ever before. And that’s not even considering whether or not it will last or if it will just be something to skip ahead like with Ilya, zina and naddet. For me it’s not wether or not it happens at all but if there will be enough to make a full weight gain story to begin with.

I love how proud she is. The reaction of different characters to gaining weight is one of the things I think this comic does really well.

Even if she doesn't lose and only goes stagnant, she'd be going back to her miserable self and we'll be stuck in the ride longer than she is. Remember how many painful months it took us to get away from that drag of a hospital scene? I like the comic for its long run, but much of the time, the delays feel so artificial and forced. Especially if Myu breaking character is the plotpoint to make it so Myu gets stuck. If that's what happens, I'll have to agree with the "fans" who say Pix sits on dreadfully long scenes to keep a hand in our pocket while we wait for a bone.
