On the one hand: Myu is at fault since she should have done a better job at maintaining her weight even if she took the nector. But on the other hand Nadette is acting like a drama queen. Myu is apologetic. She didn't MEAN for this to happen. She never had any intentions to betray her. So, yeah, Nadette's attitude isn't going to win her any favors.

I thought the point of the comic was myu wanting to gain weight though. This feels like taking 3 steps back. It's a shame.

True, I agree to some extent, but she likely won’t. It’s more likely this is meant to have myu experience what it’s like for a fat girl to diet and not see any weight loss. Based on how she acted as a kid when she was dieting then she might sneak food and not get any slimmer again. The blooming nectar might be acting up given she’s kinda bustier than expected and needed to hold them back to see her weight on the scale. And on blooming nectars side effects dieting might also be too hard for her to make good progress. Based on how Rena and Zina both experienced what it’s like to have difficulty to lose weight when your friends are eating around you and offering food she might get that experience that from them as well.

Well, she's never had a problem staying slim before, so her cat metabolism might let her lose weight. I bet it'll kill her emotionally to do it though...

Nadette's being a bad friend. Myu asked for help gaining before and Naderte blew her off. Myu finally gets to fulfill her own dreams and Nadette is angry that Myu put on some weight. At the rate Myu is gaining this is small fries

She still too heavy to enter the competition though and did admit she “deserved a no” in her own words so that’s kinda already been covered. I agree naddet is blowing this out of proportion but her feelings aren’t completely unjustified. Naddet’s a bad friend, I don’t doubt that at all. But everything to set Myu up to take some fault has been put in place, specifically not waiting to gain weight, so it’s not like she didn’t ask her not to do it at all, just wait till it could help her.

I have no idea where the story will go from here but it's clear that Nadette needs to learn a lesson on humility. But given what VVV did wasn't enough to get Nadette to learn her lesson I fear that the only way for Nadette to truly learn her lesson is to have her lose everything and be all alone so that way she can start anew. She's already lost so much thanks to falling for VVV's trap and what she said when she "won" so it'll take a bit more to get through that head that's thicker then her at over 800 pounds.
