Hey everyone,

Here's the second Q&A for this year. The Spring Q&A is here.

The rules:

What can I ask? The questions can be about absolutely anything. They can concern this Patreon, comic lore, art, life, etc, or simply something you're curious about. They don't have to be particularly important, nor do they have to be trivial. Don't hesitate to raise issues. It also doesn’t matter whether someone else has already asked the same question before, just ask!

How fast will you answer? As soon as possible! My priority is creating/releasing content and polls, then answering questions here.

Will you answer to everything? I'll answer to every question, as transparently as possible.

Your turn!

How has the world responded to the rapid advancement of AI? The Myu kernel is probably not widely known, especially given its origins, and we saw a little of how the bonk bots were improved after Myu woke, but given it was only several months are these advancements widespread, and if so how is the general public responding?

How did you manage to keep up your schedule during this summer's egregious heatwaves? Must be hard to comfortably draw multiple comic pages in a week when it's about 36 degrees centigrade...

Who would you say were your favorite OCs to work on that weren't the lead character (nor any major character) in any of your comics? ...I'll ask one more question while I'm at it. If you ever had enough free time from comic or poll related artworks, would there be any possibility of commissions from you opening? Like if there were a tier that had limited slots (and a rotation rule were people had to leave the tier after a set time so they couldn't stay indefinitely) where they could get a commission or two from you?

2026-09-05 03:00 What is considered retro to myu’s generation? (Like how now we’re seeing the beginnings of a 2000’s boom like how we had a 80’s boom earlier and 80’s media heavily borrowed or paid tribute to the 50’s.) What is the general culture of the country these comics take place in? What kind of media and genres are popular and are produced in this country? (Like how Japan has a lot of rpgs and visual novels while America produces a lot of shooters.)

Has there been anything this past year or so that you have wanted to draw, theme-wise or from a specific series/media or an experiment with some new kink, that because of time constraints on the Patreon (or otherwise) you haven't gotten around to properly doing?

Doomdorm64

Can old sequence pieces be eligible for upgrade polls?

As you guessed, at this point in the story, knowledge of what's happening is far from widespread. It's sort of a Manhattan project for AI, run by private interests. The way bonk bots have been improved is the tip of the iceberg and the only part visible to the outside world. And even then, the development of Linker AI using them was something that was ongoing. Even if it's been going poorly, a breakthrough was still something that could have happened (with or without the Myu kernel), so there aren't any reason to question it and assume there's more to it.

The place I live stays quite cool, both in winter and summer, so the indoor temperature never went above 27°C, even after a week at 35~40°C. The only real issue I had was with humidity at the beginning of the summer. When outside it was 35°C with 50% relative humidity, inside it was 22°C with over 80% relative humidity. It wasn't very comfortable, everything felt damp and some things grew mold despite regular ventilation, mostly cheap furniture built with MDF.

Heek89

What's the name of the country and city Log Myu takes place in?

Crawley

What is your favourite "trope"/recurring theme in WG fiction?

Suguru Kinniku

I know you had to eventually create a poll for your OCs because they were dominating in the other polls, but will other artist's OCs ever be considered again? Also as someone who lives in Florida in the United States the summers here get quite brutal and humid. How hot do summers get in France?

NoteFloh2848

When you asked us for the all-time worst piece you mentioned that you have some art pieces that you don't like anymore. Which ones are they or ,if you don't want to share the list yet, what is it that you don't like about them anymore?

Mina

If you go to a new world (which can be magic, science fiction, future, modern, ancient, etc.), the first BBW, SSBBW, USSBBW and BLOB you meet, what professions will they have, and what tools or weapons will they hold (can be repeated)?

pixiveo

There are quite a few pieces I no longer like because some important details could have been done better. They're generally pieces I don't publish publicly, but the list would be a little too long to write out. There are however very few pieces that I dislike almost entirely, these two in particular come to mind: - https://www.patreon.com/pixiveo/posts/hyper-energetic-60947766 - https://www.patreon.com/pixiveo/posts/record-setter-44454690 Both are anatomically horrendous. From the Zina piece I'd only keep the belly, and maybe the pose from the Jack-O piece.

In terms of comics... any plans on continuing The Kitsushi? (sorry 😅)

pixiveo

1/ Absolutely, if I find the time, I'd like to start a separate sketch queue for artists' and patrons' OCs. No ETA at the moment because I'm still catching up, but it's on the table. 2/ It varies a lot from one region to another, which makes it difficult to give a single answer for the whole country, but as a general rule, the south tends to have hot and windy summers, while the north is more temperate and the west more humid. That said, this hasn't been as true in recent years as Europe is being disproportionately affected by climate change. Where I live, summers have historically been gentle, but we've had several very hot summers in recent years. This year in particular has been hellish, with temperatures ranging from 95°F to 105°F for many consecutive days, and no rain for two months. Two years ago we had a cooler, but much more humid summer, so I have no trouble imagining how exhausting Florida must feel at this time of year!

Teranum! The name occasionally appears in the comic in background details. Since it's a city state, it's both the city and the country name.

The good news is that I never stopped working on The Kitsushi. The current draft is about 150 pages long, although it's as much a reboot as a continuation since the existing pages are now part of a larger narrative. The bad news is that it’s nowhere near finished, and I don’t want to resume publishing it until the entire draft is complete. Once Log Myu ends, The Kitsushi might take over as the next ongoing long comic. Nothing is certain at this point, though.

Colored sequences are eligible for Rework polls, although only one panel at a time. Unpolished sequences in a rough state are eligible for Upgrade polls. The main difference between Rework and Upgrade polls is that the first is for redrawing finished content, while the latter is for completing unfinished/unpolished content.
