Right? I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who picked up on that. Myu has been treated more like an object of obsession by Ilya than a legitimate love interest which doesn’t bode well if she’s fulfilling that fantasy with a ChatGPT girlfriend in Myu’s body. For someone she’s only seen as an attractive coworker and only met three times afterwards when she found out she had a feeder kink Ilya is way too certain to say for sure the thing she wants most in life is myu. And given the nature of learning machines it’s likely it building a sycophantic personality around the data Ilya is constantly feeding it. It’s likely being turned into ilyas idealized version of myu she’s built up in her head. (Myu even contemplates if there’s another version of her out there where her and Ilya are just like Rena and Zina) I think this is setting up that Ilya never actually fell for myu, just the one she obsessed over in her head and that’s going to be personified in a physical form with that copy of myu.
