Reintroducing nude polls (Patreon)

A change is coming to nude versions, or more specifically to the way they're created.

Until now, I created nude versions for all eligible Character poll winners. Whenever there weren't many being made, I tried to create them from pieces from other poll categories, mostly sequels. Over the past few months, this rule had been kept with the Fanart polls that replaced Character polls.

Frow now on, I'll be going back to running a suggestion thread and a poll every month and a half to decide which existing piece receives a nude version.

Bringing back nude polls should have several benefits:

• Better quality: when I work on a piece that has both a clothed version and a nude version to create at the same time, I often feels like one ends up better than the other. I don't really like that. Being able to focus more on each version should help improve the overall quality of both. Additionally, that you get to choose the nude versions you want to see should implicitly make them better.

• Better workload balance: spreading content over several weeks instead of having to create two versions of the same piece within a single week should make it easier for me to avoid prolonged content droughts, even if nude versions are generally simpler to create than their clothed counterparts.

• Fewer limitations: all drawing categories will now be eligible for a nude version. Sequels, prequels, OC content, sequences, and so on, as long as the main character is eligible.

• Potentially spicier content: I almost exclusively draw nude versions of mainstream characters, that I always try to portray as "respectfully" as possible. As a result, those versions tend to remain fairly tame. That's not really a limitation I have with my own characters.

The main issue with nude polls remains character eligibility. Canonically underage characters are still off-limits, so I'll likely have to decline some suggestions sooner or later.

For the reasons I explained previously, mostly platforms getting stricter, nude versions have been exclusive to patrons and subscribers for a couple months. Unlike most of my other content, they won't be released publicly. That most of my work eventually becomes public was one of the main reasons I decided to open polls to Free Members. Following the same logic, since nude versions are not intended for public release, nude polls will be limited to the tiers that have access to them: the Super Size Tier and above, as well as legacy tiers that already have access to them.

Please note that this change doesn't apply retroactively, and planned nude versions will still be released.
