Hello all!

As many of you may know, Discord servers are a popular solution used by creators to keep in touch with the people following their work, to share WIPs, etc.

Before opening the Patreon, I naturally took an interest in creating a server to add it as a tier benefit, but in the end I didn't act upon that interest. The main reason is that I live in Europe, at least 5 to 8 hours from the USA, where most of you are. A timezone difference that implies that I would be online at different times, turning the server into some kind of glorified Twitter with behind the doors content.

Some of you suggested that it would be interesting to have a server nonetheless. So here are my question, would you be interested in a Discord server in such conditions? If you are, would you be active on said server, or just lurk around?

I won't necessarily act upon the results in any way, but I'll certainly think about it. Of course if you'd like to say more on the topic, feel free to comment.

Thanks!

Opening a discord server would allow your community to interact with each other on a much easier level that commenting on an image just doesn't have. While yes it might seem like a glorified twitter, and in same cases it is, its also a platform that has a mass amount of options and allows you to notify people when you want to do something like a drawing stream. If you didn't want it to be a "glorified twitter" Why not make it public? From my knowledge there inst a public discord that anyone owns, if there are discord servers then they're usually private.
