Feedbacks and what's to come (Patreon)

Hello all!

I launched this Patreon three months ago, back in May, and I had yet to talk about how things went, what are the plans for the future, and to ask you for feedbacks. Here we are.

First, I have to say that the support I've received these first few months went beyond my wildest hopes. I can't thank you enough for that, it's very motivating to know that you enjoy what I create enough to support it financially. I'll do my best not to disappoint in the future :)

Discord Server

Back in June I asked you about a Discord server (there: https://www.patreon.com/posts/38139442 ). The results were positive enough for me to settle on the idea of creating one. It will be available at all tiers by the end of August. There will be WIPs, but there won't be any finished content that you won't find here, so if you're not interested in using Discord, you'll be able to ignore it. Planned for this month.

Companion website

Over the time I received a couple of reports that Patreon was sometimes acting up: polls not displaying properly, drawings being displayed blurry, etc. There are also ergonomic issues easily noticeable, such as what happens with Log Myu: a comic could be displayed in a more navigable manner than vertically with comments between each page. Weighted polls aren't really practical for patrons to make choices. And it simply won't be possible to host future interactive content on Patreon.

To solve all these issues, I intend to create a companion website to the Patreon to host more properly the content I create. It's not a priority, so it will take a couple months before it's ready as I'll always focus on creating content first. Planned for the end of 2020.

Interactive content

As you might know, I've always wanted to create interactive, gamey content. Plans that have been thwarted by both Adobe for killing Flash and DeviantArt for not allowing HTML5 content. This kind of content will require the companion website to be available. Planned for 2021.

Comic #3

I've started working on the ins and outs of another comic significantly different from both Log Myu and The Kitsushi. The goal is to have a story influenced by patrons (most likely at the Super Size Tier), as input on stories is something that has been requested a lot. Think of something that would be read like a gamebook (Choose Your Own Adventure-style books). It's still in the design phase and won't begin until Log Myu is much further advanced or over. Planned for 2021.

The Kitsushi

No surprise here, I want to resume publishing this comic. I've had plenty of WIP pages lying around for years but little time to finish them as they take a lot more time than a Log Myu page. I'm thinking of adding a monthly page as the new Patreon goal since it seems unlikely that I'll be able to work on it without taking more time off work. Coming as soon as possible.

Feedbacks!

So far I've had few feedbacks about how things are going on here. Is there enough content? Is it qualitative enough? What would you like to see or not to see anymore? Were the fanarts and sequences delays a major issue for you? Are the current plans matching your expectations?
Feel free to say what you want to say, be it positive or negative, I want to improve what I bring to the table, and I can't do that if I don't know what to work on.
