"The Battle of Pride Rock (Concept Idea)"

This comic visualizes an alternative scenario for the final showdown between Simba and Scar in The Lion King.

At first, Scar holds the upper hand. However, Simba counters with a swift leg strike, trapping Scar in the exact same helpless position Mufasa was in before his death.

As Scar begs for his life, Simba shows mercy and tries to pull him up. But the cunning Scar betrays him, throwing Simba off Pride Rock. Miraculously, Simba survives as the surrounding trees cushion his fall.

Left behind, Scar erupts into a mad, crazed laughter before being consumed by the roaring flames engulfing Pride Rock. As rain begins to fall over the Pride Lands, Simba finds his mother, and they comfort each other, grateful to be safe.

This is the story of the alternate ending.
