Terror overwhelms Scar as the ghost of Mufasa appears before him. He desperately insists that his brother is already dead and begs the spirit not to show itself.

Mufasa’s ghost calmly asks how the stolen throne feels, remarking that the view must be fine—the view that was meant for his son—and coldly questions whether Scar is happy.

Scar, broken, can only plead for him to stop and mutter a hollow apology.

Mufasa answers that he will watch over Scar’s fate until the day the usurper finally returns to the Kingdom.
