Another reason I love to participate in drawing challenges is that I can explore new topics and learn so much interesting facts. This bizarre-looking guy is a very large bird that could be found in Thailand. The sad fact about Helmeted Hornbill is that it has a status of critically endangered species. The poaching of hornbills for their elaborate, ivory-like casque had escalated to a rate that could mean extinction within a decade. I wish people live in peace with all living things and appreciate and protect nature.
