Alice Conversation Sketches (Patreon)

Just some sketches I did of Alice from my MouseCakes comic, for a friend of mine who's a big fan of her! There was some teasy text but decided it's better if you could see the actual sketches instead of text everywhere.

I found that I was VERY out of practice drawing her, as you can probably tell as some angles were much better than others...It was good practice though, trying to come up with unique angles and poses while keeping things interesting. Subtle head tilts, eye changes, glances to the side...And of course, mawshots, lol.

Speaking of which, the very first sketch of her crouched down with her maw open was actually a test of the Symmetry Ruler in Clip Studio Paint. I basically mirrors your drawings on an axis you choose, so when doing a head on open maw shot, it might actually be great for that! I think it turned out pretty well for the most part, but I'll definitely want to try it again later.
