True Lara Croft. True Tomb Raider :nsfw optional: (Patreon)

Hi all! 

This month I decided to create a wallpaper with my most favorite character ever - gorgeous Lara Croft 💙 Unfortunately this is only my second take on her (first one was almost 2 years ago: Lara Croft portrait ). I think I paint Lara so rarely because I really like her and afraid to fail the artwork. 

But as you know this month new movie about Lara was released and I just had to draw REAL miss Croft! Let it be my little one person war against all latest games (since Rise of Tomb Raider) and new movie! I will never forgive them for what they've done with my babe. Lara Croft always was strong, very knowledgeable, smart and with incredible charisma. She is an example of a truly stong woman. New Lara is pretty stupid, not solid and weak character even though developers try to show how strong she is, they just through it in our faces. New Lara is just Mary Sue, she just consists of popular things among general people, not even gamers. She is more like Katniss Everdeen, but not Lara. Btw, they even look similar: comparison . I have nothing against Katniss, but Lara never was similar to her! And the games and movie could be ok if main character would not be called Lara Croft. 

I understand that some of you and lots of people will be disagree with all I wrote above, most of the artists already started to make new movie fan arts. But I will fight for real Lara Croft. And I hope that you will enjoy this wallpaper anyway 😊 I spent really much time working on this piece, it was mostly inspired by Tomb Raider: Anniversary. Btw, another name I gave to this art is "The beginning of the Adventure. The beginning of the Legend". It is still not perfect but I will definetely paint more arts with Lara in the future ;)
