Deep beneath the waves, a powerful yet invisible system has been silently regulating life on Earth for thousands of years. It's rarely talked about, barely understood by most, and yet its sudden collapse could reshape the world as we know it. Why is it weakening now? What happens if it stops altogether? And how could something so critical remain hidden for so long? Find out in this first video from the new Astrum Earth channel.

A fantastic video. I'm always amazed at the consistently high standard of your films. The new channel is a great addition to Astrum. I look forward to more films from Astrum Earth. Unfortunately, I fear that while Astrum leaves me amazed, Astrum Earth will leave me amazed and afraid. At least as far as the development of the Anthropocene is concerned. But that shouldn't stop you, the Earth is full of wonders - both big and small. And the wonder begins right on our doorstep.

When the pandemic hit and people stopped travelling I thought that our CO2 impact would decrease enough to give us a few extra years but I realize that it will take much more than that to slow the train heading for the cliff. Thanks for this, even though it scares me, it also reminds me to enjoy the moments before the storm

Thank for supporting the new channel! Hopefully our next Astrum Earth video is a little less terrifying!
