A New York District Court has awarded just $28,800 to the Seinfeld defendants after Christian Charles sued, claiming he owned a copyright in the "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" show. Seinfeld et al were charged over $973,000 by their law firm to defend the "baseless" case, an amount the Court said was "excessive" and "unreasonable".
