Should I open up a discord? (Patreon)

I'm thinking whenever or not maybe opening up a discord is better way to keep everyone here up-to-date without spamming inboxes with new posts(weekly updates).

I am relatively new to this idea, but If people would be interested I could explore the idea of opening up a server. So... what do you think?
