Rene Gourley

I thought when I saw the name Terry Cox it might be some sort of take-off on Terry Fox, who is something of a hero in Canada.

Rene Gourley

Pretty much everyone outside Canada would! Back in 1980, he tried to run across Canada to raise money for cancer research. Unfortunately, he got only a little past half-way before the cancer that took his leg took his life. To this day, schools hold Terry Fox runs to raise money for cancer research. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terry_Fox
