You can (and please do) change it as much as you'd like to, including the kart as well, and you can fill up the space given in the green lines on the spritesheet, but do not reposition the sprites on the sheet (keep them central and at the bottom of their green borders). Please DO NOT base your work on copyrighted characters, though as explained in the video, having an original character wearing something as a tribute to a copyrighted character is all good! But do not use the copyrighted character's name. Please do not use content you do not own, such as a hat from another game's sprite, please keep it your own material, or check out my Twitter where I will occasionally post accessories etc. Lastly please make sure all of the sprite sheet is completed, and your name, or avator's name is added on the sheet where it asks to, this will appear above your player during the race!
