I want to be kind to you - process & inspiration (Patreon)

Back in march, I was listening to this song called Welcome Change by Phum Viphurit and I absolutely fell in love with it. The words “ I want to be kind to you" kept ringing in my head days after hearing the song. I was going through a hard time and to be honest, I was not feeling amazing about myself. Then this idea was born while I was doodling. I must’ve repainted it at least 10 times until I was finally happy with it. You can swipe to see previous version and iterations :’)
