Here are the list of classes that are up for the Beta Release! 8 of these will be released on Alpha launch and more will be in further Alpha Updates... BUT I need to know which Classes you all want to see be in Core Book of the game!

There are 23 Classes right now... but only 21 of them I see as being in development soon and I only want to have 10 or 12 "Core" Classes at launch! ALL off these classes WILL be created... but they will be released in "Expansions" at a later date (kind of like Tashas Cauldron etc).

Explanation Text on the NEW Classes

Summoner: summon multiple creatures to fight for you

Elementalist: "Avatar" like class that masters the elements as they level up

Warlord: "Battle Bard" General of the battlefield that bolsters allies

Shaman: A spiritual and elemental ward of nature that uses totems (one for each element) to cast spells through

Shapeshifter: A Class FULLY designed aroud shapeshifting as their entire kit (instead of a spellcaster that can also shapeshift... like the druid)

Beastmaster: A Class whos power ENTIRELY revolves around their one single "Beast" that they control. The PC would be VERY weak... but their Beast... would be a BEAST

Cursed: A Class that is afflicted with a powerful curse (vampirism, Lycanthropy, possession, etc) that grants them Banes and Boons that they learn to control over time.

Psion: Mentalist that uses the power of their mind to inflict psychic damage and effects on enemies

TLDR

Vote on which classes you want to see as the CORE 10-12 Classes that DC20 RPG releases with. There are 21 Classes on this list and I want to see which ones you are the most excited for! You can vote on multiple, just pick your favorites! TRY and only pick 10-12 that YOU would want!

Even stopping at 12 was difficult. The four core classes are a must (cleric, fighter, rogue, wizard). I think it's more valuable to think about the rest in a way that looks at approximating the largest sample of character types via multi-class talents.

Ok! I voted! I LOVE all the new classes you added in the options! Summoner, YES PLEASE! WAR LORD, Oh the impassioned speeches I could give! I also think the Cursed, Shapeshifter, and Beast Master are great classes! Combo Beast Master with Rogue and we have an AMAZING option! I've always wanted a psychic class and it's not available in later editions of DnD. Dungeon Coach your creativity is your greatest strength! I loved when you said Wizard could get those higher-level spells at lower levels! It would be WAY more FUN! Thanks for your Great writing! I'm so excited to see how DC 20 RPG Turns out!

I love all of the classes! But if I'm going to petition for anything I would love to see the Cursed it just feels like there's so much flavor and RP there to explore, that and I will always stand by my junk wizard (artificer)

Sad that Artificer has the least votes. I've really been getting into the Artificer. I love crafting. It's one of my favourite things in games. Playing Skyrim, making my own Weapons and Armour, is my favourite thing!

2026-09-06 20:00 Where's Alchemist? I'm trying to be a Ratfolk with Lore in Diseases and Alchemy and Herbalism to make Curatives and Extract the Diseases to use against my enemies!

As much as I like some classes in the list, DC20 will be a hard sell for my group if any of the basic classes of 5e is not on the core book. 5e is so popular that people expect to see these classes. The smart move would be 5e basic classes +1 or +2 other classes.
