Hey guys. So yeah, finally settled in the new place with a completely revamped setup. Still not finished but I'm at a place now where I can get all my work done, so that for sure means I'm editing the RTTTA. Yaaaaaaay! This RTTTA is enormously ambitious to the point in which I've had to push back the deadline at least 4 or 5 times. I'm becoming like a game developer now! That was a joke. Did you laugh. It was funny. Except not really cuz I'm not laughing. They say not to laugh at your own joke but I think that's part of what makes me feel it wasANYWAY it's moving along a lot quicker now but because I'm approaching it more as a 15-minute feature film, it's just a much larger and bigger project as a result. My goal right now is the end of September but I can't guarantee anything because I've already had to push it back so far.

As for music? Well I'm still working on Project 1997 (if ya don't know what that is, just stay up to date with me on Twitter and you'll be sure to eventually see a little snippet of something I'm working on regarding that). I'm also working on a cover to upload really super soon that I actually didn't expect to do until maybe a week ago or less and realized it'd be a fun idea. I'm also still working on the Pokemon theme song cover which I'm collaborating with a few other talented musicians on, as well as another song from another cool game with another couple of really wonderful musicians. But that's all I'll tell ya for now. ;) Hopefully it'll be finished before I'm 85.

And now that I've given you a quick update on my projects, how about PATREON? The thing I'm posting on right now?

Well yeah, about that. I have come to the realization that I really can only manage the $1 and $3 perks. As a one-man-band that can only accomplish so much in one day (being both a freelance video game composer, YouTuber, occasional freelance music studio cinematographer, and independent musician), there is some stuff I just have to accept I can't do on my own. And that's fine. That's just how it goes sometimes.

I gotta let you know, I love teamwork to death. These RTTTA's would not be possible without the team of people who help me make them. Trust me when I say that: THEY WOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE. PERIOD. (In fact, I'm gonna give em shoutouts again because they need it. Enormous thanks to: Chase Weimer, Tracie Owens, Josiah Clark, and Anna Owens for the HUGE help you guys have been.) And the feedback I get on my work before I put it up is VERY important as well, so I definitely would love a team so I could have someone else help me with Patreon. Unfortunately I currently don't make enough money to easily consistently pay my amazing team of people.

Again, ultimately the best way to support me is to SHARE MY WORK AROUND. I CANNOT CLARIFY THAT ENOUGH.

So yeah, if you still wanna donate $5 or $10 a month, I'm not stoppin' ya, but I am really sorry to say, I can't do those perks anymore. :( At least not for now and not until I can maybe have someone else help keep it all on track and shtuff.

Anyway yeah, that's what's goin' on right now. I'm so sorry and I hope you understand! Thank you so much for your patience and support, it means so so much to me. It's amazing that people would be willing to donate ANY money to me. That's just so awesome. You guys are so cool.

Thanks again,

Garrett

Hey garrett finally got a chance to use this app so far your doing great work on all of your community sites and very good job on everything I'm a big fan and enjoy listening to your music, watching your videos and listening to mac's horrible script jokes so yeah... And also remember to take it easy and to not work yourself too hard on everything, and I feel sorry that you don't have that many supporters on hear but what's important is you keep your cool, keep up your brilliant work garrett! (P.S seriously I highly suggest focusing on RTTTA cause that's what everyone wants and it'll take a lot of pressure off and ensure that everyone still loves your work!) -Daniel
