Quality Upgrade: New Workflow & Crisper Details! 🚀 (Patreon)

Hi everyone!

I’ve spent the last few days deep-diving into my technical setup to bring you the best possible quality, and the results are finally here. I’m excited to announce a complete overhaul of my workflow!

The Big Switch: Moving to Forge I recently switched my entire environment to Forge, and the difference is huge. Honestly, I had no idea how much power was still hidden in my RTX 4060 Ti! By utilizing the latest updates and optimizations I had previously missed, my GPU is now running more efficiently than ever. This has led to drastically shorter generation times, allowing me to spend more time on the creative side and the final polish.

What does this mean for the images?

Higher Base Resolution: I’ve increased the initial drafting resolution from 512x768 to 768x1152 pixels. Starting at this higher base gives the AI a much better grasp of anatomy, meaning fewer errors and significantly more detail from the very first step.

Advanced Sampling: I’m now using an optimized sampler - scheduler cmobination to pull out more details in higher resoutions especially in hair, foliage, and skin.

Native High-Res Upscaling: Instead of just "stretching" images with old-school algorithms, I am now natively upscaling to the target resolution. I have been experimenting a lot to find a way to add more details in the backgrounds, while still maintaining my style and the initial composition of the image.

You'll find an overview of the changes and improvements in the 2nd image.In the third image you see the difference in the final image. You'll notice much more detail in the background, less weird mistakes in the eyes and an overall more sharp and clean image, while maintaining my siganture look. For this occation I also wanted to add another test image, which is why I've added one of Jade as well.Sidenote: The next few upcoming sets will still contain images created with my old workflow, since they have been drafting them before my upgrade. From April on I'll most likely have been switched completely.

I’m really proud of how these new pics are looking, and I’m so happy I finally unlocked the full potential of my hardware. It took me a few days and hours of sweat and tears, to get everything running. Thank you so much for your ongoing support. It’s what keeps me pushing the boundaries! 🙏
