Technical upgrade 2 | Regional prompting (Patreon)

Here is another big upgrade on my technical side and I am really happy to announce that I am now able to use regional prompting.As you can tell by the pic at the top...I've managed to put both jade and Moonika in the same image...not just that, but interacting with each other. Why haven't I done this before? I couldn't...This image right there was simply impossible to do on my old setup. The second one with the 3 gobbos is the first group image I have now done in which I was in full control of ever characters features all at once.It may not sound like much at first but it's huge for me and my future work. Let me explain:

The Problem with controlling seperate areas of the image:Normally your prompts are applied to the whole image. For this specific reason I was unable to have multiple characters with specific features in the same image. Because when you prompt 2 different hair colors for example it's nearly impossible for the AI to know where to put them. I was just prompting multiple random characters and hoped for the best. The only way to change features was inpainting...So regenerating certain areas afterwards. This is a tedious and time consuming process, but its a great tool for correcting smaller mistakes and every now and then I was able to get a few of them done. It's not as reliable though because it often creates wrong shadows. especially when you're trying to add entire new characters to the scene.What does regional prompting mean for you now? Now with regional prompting I am able to devide the image into multiple areas and seperately put in prompts for these areas...which means I can put 2 or more OC's in one image or control the features of a group of characters right from the getgo....hair colors, facial expressions, poses ect. These still take a bit to do, but it's so much easier, quicker and more reliable. So I can finally do the pics I've always wanted to do that include more complex compositions and interactions between characters and groups.I would have loved to have this earlier, but in the past I was just accepting that AI has it's limits and I'll have to work around it and eccepted my fate. Thankfully there are many really clever people working improving the capabilities more and more. So expect lots of multi-character pics from now on. 😎
