[Early Access] April week 3 | OC character design special (Patreon)

Here is the early access set of week 3!I have been experimenting with lots of character designs in the past weeks, so instead of a regular set of 4 scenes I want to show you what I have been working on.

Why all the character designs? My initial idea was to work on a bigger project. I wanted to create a setting I could return to from time to time—not exactly a full comic series, but something more open-ended where I could regularly add new scenes and content.

The concept was a monster girl harem setting: a protagonist who gradually ends up living with more and more monster girls (somewhat similar to Monster Musume).

After experimenting with it for a while, I had to give up on the idea because it was simply too difficult to create a large number of images with all the monster girls interacting naturally. Things like height differences, in particular, were almost impossible to get right consistently.

For that reason, I decided to scrap the project for now. Maybe I’ll come up with something similar in the future, or maybe I’ll reuse some of the character designs at some point. But right now, I think creating an ongoing comic-style series is simply too big of a project for me to take on.

That said, I’m not really the type of person to give up easily, so I may try to scale the idea down and find a way to make it work someday. I really like the concept of having a continuous monster girl harem story.

In terms of scope, I originally planned to start with four characters: a goblin girl, a cyclops girl, a futuristic Egyptian Anubis girl, and a moth girl.

Let me know what you think of the idea. Maybe you like some of the designs... or maybe I’m the only one who likes the concept 🤣
