Hello. As I said yesterday, there's something I have to talk about. As those of you who frequent our Discord know, I'm getting laid off at my regular job. This means more time for Shattered, but also that my income goes down by about a half. I've never taken your generosity for granted, and am very thankful to each one of you, but my Patreon income has been floating between 650–750$ for the last three years, which makes me think this is where I'm at audience-wise. I keep waiting for an influx of new supporters with each version released, but it's not happening. Which tells me that I've reached to all the people I could. Unfortunately, it's just not enough to survive. And as much as it pains me to even consider this, I'm thinking about raising prices for two of my tiers. I never wanted to do it. As you know, the 3–7–12 combination remained unchanged ever since I started this project, but believe me, these extra eighty-ninety bucks would make a lot of difference for me. Still, it's your support, it's your money, so I'm giving this decision to you. And my question is: if I raised the price of the Diligent Maid tier from 3 to 4 dollars, and the Nonchalant Maid from 7 to 8 dollars (Wicked Maid remains the same), would you stay with me or would it be too much? I don't want to guilt trip you into anything, and I don't want to make it look like I'm making decisions on a whim. If most of you say no, I will obviously keep the prices the same and try to find a different way to support myself. It's just a matter of, well, convenience. And I would love to spend my days on Shattered with some free time for myself, if we're being honest.

But it's up to you now. So, give me an honest answer, my lovely people :) Would extra dollar a month be fine for you or not?

In principle? Yes. In the long run, I'm not sure. You're nearing the end of your game, and I'm not sure if you've mentioned it, as I'm not on Discord (or very rarely, and not for a while), or if I missed the mention here, but I'm wondering about the future. A new game ? What kind ? Any ideas ? So there you have it, I like your work, its quality and consistency, so paying a little more for it is fine, honest even, everything is going up in price after all. But since I don't know what will follow, I'm not sure I'll continue for long after that.

I sort of prohibited myself from even thinking about the future, as there are bombs falling all around me every day, not to mention my massive health issues in general. As of now my plan is to simply survive until we all see the end of Shattered. But, as I've said many times before, there's about 95% chance you will never see me again after I'm done with Blake's story. I think I've exhausted my inspiration reserves for the rest of my life, and on the technical level this journey has been nothing short of agonising at times. However, I think it would be pretty shitty of me to not give every route a proper send-off, and I do hope to end them in a satisfactory fashion — which does mean spending enough time on each one. And now that I fully depend on my Patreon income, well… I am hoping to find the balance between said proper development time and dragging the project on for eternity. I've been trying to be as honest and transparent as possible this entire time, but in this particular case the future is a bit of a mystery. Still, I believe that by now I've earned a certain level of trust, and I am fully determined to not let it down.

Omg so sorry to hear you’re being laid off, of course anything to help

I understand your point of view. And I've been following you for a while, since Melinda's mansion burned down, I think. So yes, there is trust there. But you asked a question about the future. It's logical that I wonder about that too. As for your health and your country... You've made it this far, don't stop now. Easy to say when you don't have to deal with it, I know, sorry.
