Hello! Time for the new progress report. But first, a bonus picture!

Well, let's briefly talk about the progress. It is still happening. I'm working on remaking several scenes at once, two of which are almost done, and the third one is somewhere in the middle. Once that's done, I'll move onto the next event scene, and that's when we'll get yet another poll.

However, that's not the important part today. What's more interesting is that the walkthrough mod I teased not long ago is more or less finished — or at least ready for presenting. Before I give you the link, however, I do have to warn you: it has to be installed over the latest demo (v0.23.3-4), and because it replaces all the previous script files, it's a good idea to keep a copy of those just in case. It should work with your previous saves but we did run into some errors along the way. If you encounter errors, please report them to the author of the mod, who should reveal themselves in the comments. Here's the link. There's no switch to turn it off yet, we tried it before, and it led to certain issues, so for now it's permanent, so keep that in mind if you want to get back to blind playthrough. Aside from that, I believe you'll find it very useful. Enjoy!

So, thanks for reading, and have a great day!

I should be able to resolve any issues. The mod is a png version of the scripts, but it will work with webp images. I added a helper function which will silently look for a webp version of the image if it can't find a png version. If you load an old save on a choice, the conditional hints won't appear immediately on that choice. Just roll back a line or two and then roll forward and they should show up right away like magic.

I am very optimistic that the problems have all been resolved with the mod-switch, so if you want to wait to install it to your regular game so you can play either version in the same install, it likely won't be more than a few weeks. Or you can just switch back and forth by re-copying your old script files. (I do that all the time.)
