Early Access for 'Summer In The City' v0.40 (Patreon)

Hey dear Friends With Benefits,

there are a few things I would like to address when it comes to this early access release. First of all, apologies for the delay, even if it's a rather short delay, but still. I've been working really hard to get everything done in time. It's been a rough ride the last few days and I may have underestimated the amount of time I needed. I am still in the process of learning when it comes to a development project like this. The most important thing is to avoid making the same mistake twice, and learning from those mistakes.

Now to the content of the update itself. I'm not super happy with the current build to be absolutely honest. There is content in there that is subject to change, such as dialogue, music and even a few renders. I am trying to get everything done for the public release, but please be aware that this early access version might be a bit rough around the edges. Maybe I'm just too critical with myself, but that's how I feel right now and you know that I like to be as transparent as possible.

The update is playable from beginning to end, and you will be able to enjoy it if you're okay with overlooking some flaws. But I also wouldn't blame you, if you decided to wait for a more polished version. Now to the changelog and what's still missing/subject to change:

Changelog v0.40:

New dialogue, stories and a new character introduction (brief scene)

Implemented an option to enable the special scenes you get at the end of each update

You can now name your save games (Thanks to Benedetto and Bad Mustard)

Improved spelling and grammar on 0.32 content (approx. 25% finished - Thanks to PhoenixGR and The Radiator)

Content missing/subject to change (spoiler free):

Several lines of dialogue in multiple scenes will be rewritten

Some renders will be rerendered (mainly hot tub scene)

Gallery for 0.40 isn't functional yet

More fitting music tracks will be added
