I am currently working on a video covering Black Peak! It is a rather little known Aleutian volcano which produced a massive caldera forming eruption around 3,000 years ago (VEI = 6, 30 km^3 tephra). This volcano isn’t well known as it’s overshadowed by two more active volcanoes to the east and west with larger calderas.

If I was a betting person, I’d bet you are there right now, or have just returned 😉
