Upcoming Videos (Patreon)

I am planning a series of several videos which be posted in the next 2-3 weeks, assuming that a major volcanic eruption doesn’t occur.

Video topics include:

-The Corbetti Caldera & Awasa Caldera (Ethiopia)

This is an active supervolcano on the African continent with confirmed Holocene eruptions. It also is the site of magmatic uplift.

-Ugashik-Peulik Volcano (Alaska)

A unique volcano with a difficult to pronounce name, this complex has a notable several kilometer wide caldera. It is in relative close proximity to the Ukinrek Maars.

-Bandai Volcano (Japan)

This volcano produced a catastrophic flank collapse due to an eruption in 1888.

-Asama Volcano (Japan)

This volcano produced one of Japan’s largest explosive volcanic eruptions during the last 2,500 years.

Any questions? Are there any topics that you would wish for me to discuss?

I am planning a week dedicated to volcanoes located in Japan.
