Neural Nodes are a biological map asset that may be happened across if your player find themselves traversing around the inside of some supremely large organism. But why would THAT ever happen!?!? HAHA  
Dinosaurs and extremely large animals have neural clusters like these that help regulate the organism (you can look it up) and they make for great McGuffins.
