I’ve been deep in the forge lately, working on the dark and melodic tones of Daumbra. Mastering her voice has been a fascinating challenge, but I think I’ve finally hit the mark!

I wanted to share the evolution of this process with you all so you can hear exactly how much work goes into bringing her to life:

The Blueprint: Here is the original audio from the mod for trading items. This served as our North Star for the character's vibe.

The Raw Talent: This is the Raw Audio I received from the incredible Kerstyn. It’s pure, unedited, and full of character. She starts speaking around the 30 second mark.

The Final Polish: After some time in the "mastering lab," here is the audio I created. I love Audacity. I’m incredibly proud of this. I think I got pretty darn close to that original perfect, haunting resonance!
