Lily - Hearthfires Lyra Expansion Spoiler (Patreon)

Here is an exclusive first-look spoiler for Lily, who will be joining Lyra in an upcoming Hearthfires patch!

I originally found her model on CGTrader, and the team’s immediate reaction was: "How many intricate inner workings can we pack into her and animate to turn her into a true work of art?" I have to admit, we’ve managed some absolutely crazy things with her design - including a fully visible, beating mechanical heart.

When designing these kinds of characters, it's hard not to think of the greats. Isaac Asimov was a genius ahead of his time, and David Weber, another massive robot enthusiast, frequently referenced Asimov while weaving his own complex views on self-aware AI into his work. (Though I'll save Weber's AI philosophies for another day!)

That blend of sci-fi philosophy is driving the narrative for this add-on.

In it, Lyra and the Player will venture into the Dreamsleeve and accidentally create a persona offshoot based on their collective memories and knowledge. Think of it like training a real-world AI on a massive dataset of documents, except here, we are "training" a magical construct using the literal mental forms of two distinct individuals.

I call it Hearthfires because Lily is symbolic of how when a group people come together and share ideas and a mod comes to life. Ideas are nothing more then a brain child brought together via collaboration. I was probably the best fit to voice Seryn because I am technically one of several of Lyra's Dads.

I will custom voice Lily and make her adoptable. We are planning to do a Personality Quiz which will create the personality for Lily. So she will be a really cool. Everyone has a different RP style and each game can allow you to have a LIly with a different personality. You can thank Nyara for that inspiration.

My Adult NPC's heights range from 0.9 to 1.10. My Harkon replacer is actually 1.16!

Also once inside Lyra’s Dreamsleeve Realm, the player will also encounter two legendary figures: KINMUNE and Queen Ayrenn.

From there, Lyra will kick off a major new questline. To progress, a massive list of about 20 specific items needs to be gathered. But don't worry, you won't have to spend hours doing the legwork yourself. You'll be handing the shopping list over to Blinky, and they will do all the heavy lifting for you! She will be having a full body created and will be 0.95 for height though I may make it become 0.9 as Lyra may dislike Lily being taller then her. This is why I am bringing up the height as we have to find that spot.
