Hey everyone,

Part of me thinks we should do this as 4.7 for SDA wont occur until... Q4 2028 based on data.

Auri has like 550 lines for it. And the scope isnt nearly as large as Dawnguard. I might actually do it as a Volkihar Diabologue Vigilant Patch. Would be intriguing to bring Valerica and/or Harkon along to Coldharbour. Will of course have Kerstyn voice Serana as a patch.

Time consuming part is building the discord server for the buckets :) and then waiting until I feel I have enough content. Really its like breathing after the discord server.

How I would do it?

We are doing an infiltration into the ranks of the vigilant. Clearly burning their headquarters made a statement about publicly announcing you were going to wage a crusade. You are Agent 2625 (watch Kingsman)

Once in Coldharbour our goal is to become the new master of Coldharbour. We need forces and the vigilants are not the smartest bunch.

To me Molag sees mortals as two types of people. The already broken who submit to him (their souls are an easy harvest) and the souls he needs to break into a bloody pulp (what Vicn calls Martyrs).

I can work on it while writing the below (ADHD is good for that) :

Sinister Serana Diabologue Lore (scenes and stuff)

Volkihar Radiant Quest (Kick Molags Butt)

Volkihar Relationship Mod

Other than Serana, who in Vanilla has contriteness, I believe vampires deserve death.

Its a hard decision as our community isnt just SDA players we have SDE players as well.

In Skyrim, while it is not talked about by the characters, vampires don't just drink blood, they eat their victims, as shown in Volkihar Castle and other vampire locales.

Its one reason the vigilant and Yffre Wood Elves dont get along. Cannibalism is a symptom of Daedric Influence in their doctrine.

Most of the time it is vampires "playing with their meals" >.> gross yes, but that was the canon reason for the gore decor.

I'd rather have commentary for Vigilant from SSDAO than from SDA, personally. Once SSDAO is fully voiced by Kerstyn I plan on dropping SDA like a lead balloon

I am planning to have SSDAO voiced by Kerstyn starting in early 2027. Reason for that is I am still doing lines >.>; goal is Halloween for SDE/DG. Valentines Day for AA. Walpurgis Night For SSDAO :)

I for one am in favor of you doing it! I've held off on playing vigilant for the sake of Serana reaction commentary after all. And as you pointed out, at the rate SDA is paced I'll have to wait until likely 2028 otherwise 😅 Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but experiencing it from an evil perspective earlier is fine too!

In my writing for the lore Sinister Serana laughs at Molag as he has been reduced to a poltergeist with bad aim.

In this same vein I can see her being all about the Dragonborn Gallery (Re; LotD) for the sake of amassing relics she's got unrestricted access to via our character.

Clearly in favor as I'm unlikely to go back to SDA, certainly not if playing Volkihar side. SDA's Serana character development and siding with the Volkihars never really meshed IMHO. As for Sybille Stentor, there seem those who disagree. There are quite a few mods out there that make her appear more non-good than vanilla does, to put it nicely. ;) (Though with the replacer I got for her now, she looks to hot to turn to dust. ^^)

Sybille Stentor is not by any means good. Being a merit fueled mage doesn't mean good in any form. She just looks out for the throne for some mysterious reason.

The last time I went through Vigilant, I had Auri and the Lady Serah of Clan Volkihar (Serana who had traveled backwards in time to join me) with me. Both contributed a lot of commentary to the journey and made it even more bleak. By all means do it, but maybe try for a little lightness in the commentary.

Oh, I've seen and am following the mods for Vigilant. I've just never installed them. It's also intriguing to think about which followers would work for it.

Yeah, when Gore was being updated, I looked at all the mods and patches surrounding Vigilant. It looks awesome but would require a dedicated playthrough. I am too busy breaking saves with updates and new mods to have an actual playthrough.
