Quick mod pitch: The vanilla routine where an aspiring Volkihar Lord has to pretend to join the Dawnguard just to find Serana has always felt clunky.

​I daydreamed about a small alternative start plugin where Sybille Stentor initiates the Volkihar path:

​Skip Fort Dawnguard and Isran's recruitment pitch entirely.

​Receive your lead on Dimhollow Crypt directly through vampire court channels in Solitude.

​Awaken Serana as a Pro-Vampire Volkihar asset from the get go.

Plus let Sybille Stentor say why the Vigilants in Srendarr were fools for declaring war against every daedra cult across Nirn. They act like they are vast like the Imperial Army or the Storm Cloaks. If the Vigilants were smart they should of aligned with folks like the "Silver Hand."

Bad enough the Vigilants of Stendar would accuse Y'ffre of being a Namira cult. Wood elves commit cannablism on their fallen foes.

This all ​keeps the questline lore-friendly, sensible, and built specifically for true nightwalkers. Plus I don't feel like a douche for going "yay! I am a vampire hunter" who immediately goes "Yay! I am a Vampire."
