Latest update to Last Human... this adds episode 5 (v0.8).

Please note: I do not have an android build ready this time. I don't know if it's the game folder size or what's happening, but it just keeps giving me errors and fails to build. I'm sorry to my android users, I'll keep trying or maybe someone else will have better luck and I'll try to get a copy of that one.

Love the new Episode, quality release as usual! I must say a tear formed in my eyes when it was revealed that the MC has the Huntington Gene, look forward to see how that plays out.

Is there supposed to be music during the scene with Valerie or the one with the queen? The lack of music made the scenes feel off. I want to say awkward or empty, but I'm not sure either of them really conveys whatever it is I'm trying to say.

Hi Bishop, got a question for you. You slated the author for using AI music generation in the game, and are now pointing out gaps in the music. You do understand we are dealing with a human being here, and not Bethesda. Fire works hard on the games and has done for a while now. AI, LLM's and Agentic Ai are all tools that developers use on a daily basis, so, from me to you, can I ask why you are being so critical?

I am not being "so critical". I was asking a question based on my knowledge of how Fire has handled emotional scenes in the past, and stating my opinion on the scene in an attempt at constructive criticism. As for the AI music post, we were asked for feedback. I gave it. I was not rude about it, or mean spirited. I did not get up on my high horse, or draw any proverbial lines in the sand. I wrote my honest concerns, as clearly as I could, and quite frankly my concerns about the use of AI were written out in as concise a manner as I could without going into a mini dissertation on it. I also didn't accuse Fire of anything beyond trying to find anything they can work with in the current hellscape of an internet we all are saddled with. I will also point out that you have the timeline backwards, and appear to have assumed I have some sort of agenda. I don't. my post here was made on May 24th. Fire's post about the music was made on June 1st. This was a pair of coincidences. I love the work Fire has done, and expect to continue to do so going forward. But just because I love their work does not mean I should never ask questions. What I did here is no different than asking if a particular wording in a scene was intentional or a typo.

How old is the MC? Huntington disease usually only effects people between 30/50 and they live for many years after first developing it until they can no longer live independently. I am assuming the MC is 19/20 years old, don't think he is much older than that. So Huntington disease should hopefully not effect him at all, throughout the story. Especially if your only doing 3 seasons. Would hate to see him show any kind of symptoms in this story. I was honestly hoping you'd keep it wholesome without any sadness. Too many VN's have sadness where imo it shouldn't even exist. I love your games because you make sure that it's a happy game as in the sense bad things don't happen and people don't die of diseases. Could this Huntington's disease be mis diagnosed? I really hope so.

Aww, come on Neko-Chan... you're doing what so many people usually do and trying to read ahead. You know very well my story will remain wholesome and have a happy ending. As for his age, he is 22. And as for Huntington's Disease, I did my research on that. Although rare, HD can have onset as early as ages 10 - 20. Most don't have onset until much later. Also, I think you're forgetting that this is set well into the future (like WAY into the future). Zee was put into MC at a very young age, at first because of the possibility of onset since his mother had it. This disease is hereditary after all. MC only learns this from his mother directly in the holo-room. Zee was later upgraded after his accident though to minimize the excruciating pain from both the accident and after the surgery that modified his body.

Its just that I read huntingtons disease without thinking. I am sorry for calling it out, I know I should know better than to think bad / sad things when it comes to your wonderful almost wrote light novels hehehe visual novels :)
