Hey guys.

Sorry I was absent last month and couldn't get the voted piece (on Lord of the Rings) done, nothing was charged last month. So for this month I think I'll be doing something a little different and do a more comic like set of paintings for that idea instead. Let me know what you guys think.

I have a draft above, but instead of doing a vote, I'll be taking feedback in the comments. I'm not sure how voting would even work for a comic style piece! After getting feedback, I'll update you guys again.

Honestly the above with some color I think would be awesome. The painting looks good

The comic style sounds good to me! Which one is Eowyn in the bottom panel, out of curiosity?

Also, you might be doing this anyway, but a suggestion would be to include a couple of the different style uruks we saw in the film. Like maybe a couple Uruk berserkers (the armorless ones that were the first up the ladders during the battle) thrown in there?

I left it a little ambiguous since I was trying more to capture the scene in that panel. Any of the positions in the center would work in my opinion.

I'd love to see more comic style works from you! Always great to see the build up of a scene and have it unfold further in the next panel.

Thanks NYB, I've been wanting to transition to more comic based work for a while now.
