And to Premium Supporters on Thangs. My kids adore this show.. do you know it? its called the Octonauts, and its about a group of adventuring wild life explorers who Explore, Rescue, and Protect!! well these cute little things are not the Octonauts.. but they do feature heavily in the show.. they are an unusual mix of vegetable and animal discovered in their infancy in the ocean by Shellington the sea otter. These fantastical creatures offer plenty of comic relief with their fun antics.I designed these to be printed with minimal supports and 3 of the 5 can print support free! This was my first time painting 3d prints with an airbrush, and I learned a lot from it. Like how its important to think about what order to paint the different parts to make it easier to mask during the later stages and that having the models split into basic colour groups would really help getting easier clean edges between the colours.I'm thinking about coming back to these later and splitting them to parts to make them easier to paint.. a painters editionDo you paint your 3d models? What's your preference: whole models or multi part models? .. or both?
