This one got sent to us by Michael, who said he first heard this South Korean nu-metal band while getting drunk in Florida at 2 am, and that is almost as improbable as the story of this single. Originally the most popular member of a South Korean boy band, Seo Taiji left the band and did a solo turn...making nu-metal. It's truly a wild story, as he's likely made more money off of nu-metal than anyone else on Earth, and the song absolutely kicks ass. Take a listen to both this excellent song and its wild backstory in one of the more fun singles episodes we've done to date.

The person who sent this request said they were from central FL when this was mentioned on a prior POD-Kast, I think - The mainstream rock station here in Orlando (WJRR 101.1) is nu-metal friendly to the present day and takes some weird turns, especially late at night - would not be surprised if they played this. Also may have been our local off-the-wall college station 91.5 WPRK, I could see them playing this too. Would love to hear which station played this, if the person who requested it sees the comment section. Outstanding song, by the way! Especially loved how they went from top 40 to nu-metal - amazing they pulled that off, especially in South Korea where I can't imagine nu-metal had a following at the time.
