Hello Kids,

As promised, we are now going to provide you with a link to all the articles we covered in each episode, and here are the Slipknot ones, starting with the completely unhinged Rolling Stone profile.

Rolling Stone: "Slipknot: Highway To Hell" (October 11, 2001)

This is the article we touch on the most in this episode, with the ludicrous Mick Thomson "jokes" and the Corey Taylor quotes where it becomes obvious the band is beginning to take themselves too seriously.

Revolver Magazine: "Slipknot on Darkness, Anger, Addiction Behind 'Iowa': 'We Almost All Died'" (December 2011)

This is the one we relied on for most of their accounts about how hellish this recording process was for them, which they love telling you. Mick Thomson also has his quotes about cheating and road life in this one.

Blunt Magazine: "From the Vault: In BLUNT #1, Slipknot Gave Us An Inside Look at Their Live Show Made in Hell" (Summer 2001)

In this article, we pull the quotes about their writing process, and the report on Corey Taylor admonishing the audience for not moshing hard enough.

There you have it. Enjoy the articles, and feel free to sound off on the episode in the comments below.

they went pretty damn heavy after subliminal verses again with all hope is gone, which is one of my favorite records but slipknot apparently doesn’t like it much.
