This is Part One of my May 2020 Seminar for Patreon members. This Seminar looks out how I have kept my passion for Photography alive after working for 40 years in the industry.

Some of the things I discuss about my own work in this video may raise some questions you have about your own photographic projects. Jut add them to the comments section for this post.

Part Two will look at some examples of photo stories or narratives I have captured while travelling in 2019. Hopefully normal service (world travel) will resume in 2021.

Must be extra hard for photographers like yourself not to be able to go many new places at the moment. Personally I had many Cities planned to visit and explore the world. Most of us are passionate about our camera and photos so now we have to be creative and explore what our own city offers in the way of its emotion over this pandemic. Ill watch this tomorrow.

I was asked to deliver an online seminar about shooting Macro at home (something that might be useful to people in lockdown). They were obviously not very familiar with my personal passions that I outline in this movie. My interest in photography is what connects me to the world that I wanted to explore. My time at home is better spent planning my next trips and revisiting my old trips in my photographic archives. Hope we have some sense of normality when 2021 arrives. I don't hold out much hope for the remainder of 2020 - we still have to ride the second wave and wait for the vaccines :-(
