This 1-hour video tutorial covers all of my recommended camera settings for capturing images of rapidly moving subject, including Birds in Flight. It draws heavily from the settings recommended in the eBook but expands on this knowledge in a few areas.

  • 1. Settings mode using the Hard Controls such as Drive, Mode, Focus Mode, Exposure Mode and Exposure Compensation.
  • 2. Menu Settings linked to using Hi+ to the best advantage (Priority Set in AF-C, Silent, Mode, Display Options and Record Media Settings).
  • 3. Choice of Focus Area , Focus tracking and Face Eye Priority in AF
  • 4. Recall Custom Hold settings
  • 5. SteadyShot Settings
  • 6. Save/Load Settings
