For those that are interested in possibly purchasing this lens I am making available 33 Raw images and one JPEG doggie triptych so you can take a closer look at the file quality this lens is capable of producing.
The camera used to capture these images was the Alpha 1

Although I have loved testing this lens I will probably stick to using my 85 and 135 f/1.8 primes, but for those that prefer the flexibility of working with a zoom then I can certainly recommend this lens from my own experience.

Not everyone needs to AF performance that quad XD linear focus motors can deliver so one must way up your own particular needs. I wouldn't use my FE 55mm F1.8 ZA lens to shoot sports but I am not about to part with it any time soon because it is 'fast enough' and 'sharp enough'. Separate the want from the need.
