Hi Mark, I was wondering if you have any thoughts on the new A7 IV firmware 2.0? And the new Creators app that goes along with it? I have decided to wait for your always valuable feedback before updating.

I plan to update to version 2.00 towards the end of the week to test the camera together with the new Creator's App. I will report back to Patrons within a week. As there are some potentially big changes I would hold off on the update - especially if you are nervous about what you may lose when you can no longer connect to the older Imaging Edge app.

Hi Mark. Thanks in advantage. I just updated the firmware to 1.05. I am looking to update to version 1.10 or 1.11 but it is not available on the sony website (it takes me to download version 2.0). I do not want to update to version 2.0 yet and I would love to use your CAMSETS on Version 1.0, or 1.11. What should I do? Thanks again. YILBER

Hi Sony do not make older firmware versions available on their website so you now have to update from 1.05 straight to 2.00 (1.05 is required for all updates if users have the 1.00 or 1.01 versions). I had to update my CAMSET to version 8 so that users updating to 2.00 can load my CAMSET. I am now working on an updated eBook to support the new Creators App.
