Resolution and Noise Seminar 2023

Resolution and Noise Seminar 2023 This seminar discusses image, print and lens resolution followed by a discussion about High ISO noise and ways of suppressing the noise in post-production editing. It is highly recommended to watch this seminar in full screen mode on a large 4K monitor. When discussing fine detail and noise some aspects of what is being discussed may not be able to be appreciated if viewing on a smaller HD screen. As the video compression may lower some of the quality being discussed please refer to the accompany slide deck. This is an update to the 2022 Seminar of the same name. The second half of the seminar has been updated to include Adobe Enhance - Denoise and Topaz Photo AI. Go to the 53-minute point in the video to watch the updated information only. 00:00 Start and Intro 00:34 Resolution 53:57 Noise Reduction DxO PureRaw 3: https://tidd.ly/3yFunCz Topaz Photo AI: https://www.topazlabs.com/topaz-photo-ai/ref/939/ Topaz DeNoise AI: https://topazlabs.com/ref/939/ https://www.lensrentals.com/blog/2019/04/just-mtf-charts-sony-fe-mount-prime-lenses/ How to read an MTF Chart: https://youtu.be/LJTwfUUleZA https://www.patreon.com/markgaler Mark's supporting website: http://www.markgaler.com If you find Mark's work for the Alpha community helpful please consider making a donation to support the creation of new learning resources for Alpha users.
